LEADERSHIP

Dr. Roosevelt Allen, Jr.

Dr. Roosevelt Allen, Jr. was born in Elberton, Georgia, on April 10, 1961, to Roosevelt and Mary Frances Allen. He was educated in the Elbert County School System until graduation in 1979. He furthered his education at Clark College in Atlanta, where he graduated magna cum laude with Bachelor of Science degree in 1983.

In June 1984, Dr. Allen married the love of his life, Rozetta Tanner. This union brought forth six children: Brandon, Jasmine, Justin, Andrew, Jordan, and Nicholas.

Dr. Allen received his medical degree in 1987 from the Medical College of Georgia.

Although he was brought up in the church from childhood, Dr. Allen resisted the call God placed on his life. In 1992, he finally said, “yes” to the Lord and accepted the call into the ministry.

Pastor Allen was licensed to preach under the auspices of Elder Arthur Mosley while a member of the Family of God Church of God in Christ. He was then ordained as an Elder by Bishop Chandler David Owens, jurisdictional bishop of Central Georgia. Pastor Allen founded Holy Bethel Church of God in Christ in 1998, and continues to serve God’s people through preaching and teaching, and in fasting and prayer.

Supervisor, Rozetta T. Allen

LadyAllen is an anointed prophetess and prayer warrior who desires to see God move in the lives of His people. Alongside her husband, Dr. Roosevelt Allen Jr., she is the co-founder of Holy Bethel Church of God In Christ. Lady Allen is a humble, devoted servant whose zeal for youth and passion for restoring families is the underlying purpose of her ministry. It is apparent that the hand of the Lord is upon her in a profound manner, and the anointing that destroys yokes and lifts burdens is apparent as she ministers.

Her love and passion for others led her to pursue a degree in Human Services, graduating in 1984 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Georgia State University, and in 2012 with a Master’s degree in Counseling from Capella University. Evangelist Allen is currently seeking a second Master’s degree in Christian Studies from Luther Rice University.

Lady Allen works diligently and faithfully as president of the Women’s Department at Holy Bethel, where she frequently hosts workshops, seminars, retreats, and Bible studies aimed at strengthening the gifts already bestowed unto women by God. She is the founder and leader of the 7:00 a.m. Morning Manna Prayer Group.

Lady Allen’s greatest charge in ministry is to be a supportive and devoted wife to Pastor Allen and a loving mother to their six children. Lady Allen is committed to raising her children in the fear and admonition of the Lord with the love of Christ
